Blessings of the Holy Spirit found in Hebrews and other scriptures.
Hebrews 2:3-4 Spiritual gifts come through the Holy Spirit.
Paul is asking a retorical question. “How shall we escape…?”

Hebrews 10:15 Here again we see the Holy Spirit’s words from Jeremiah 31:33.

Hebrews 10:29 The Holy Spirit gives grace.
Paul has just talked about judgment under the old law and how one was punished without mercy. He compares that to the judgment of one who has not revered Jesus and the grace given by the Holy Spirit.

What else do we learn about the Holy Spirit from other passages?
2 Peter 1:20-21 –The Holy Spirit moved men to write scripture.

Verse 9:

- Hi-lite “the fruit of the Spirit” – Thayer’s definition of the greek word for fruit – that which originates or comes from something. So these are things that come from, originate with the Spirit.

Verse 24:
- Hi-lite “those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh.”
- Put this cross-reference in your margin 1 Peter 2:11.
Verse 25:

1 John 4:13 – We have been given His Spirit.

2 Corinthians 1:21-22 – The Spirit is our guarantee.

There are some things about the Holy Spirit that we do not understand. God has not given us all of the answers. But we do know that He leads us, dwells in us, helps us and has revealed God’s word to us. He is a huge blessing to us and we should be grateful to God for giving us the Holy Spirit.
