Woman’s Role in the church : A 13 lesson study
Available from Amazon
Our society changes constantly, and the values that currently dominate it did not come from God. Nowhere is this more evident than in the church, where the role of women has become the subject of hot debate and disagreement. The changed values that have become an accepted part of a woman’s role in society are having a profound impact on our Lord’s precious church, and as Christian women we have a responsibility to know what God has said about the role He intends for us to fill, whether in our homes, in our communities, or in His church. This book is intended to help us fulfill that task, so that we can pass along a clear and accurate understanding of what God has said about our role in the church to each new generation of Christian sisters. If He has given us a role that is different from our brothers’ place in the church, that does not mean He values us less; it means He has specific responsibilities that only we can fulfill. Let us strive to “understand what the will of the Lord is” rather than blindly follow the will of the world around us.
What does the Lord Require of Me? A Topical Study of Deuteronomy
Available on Amazon
Many believe that during Old Testament times, God was arbitrary and unloving. Nothing is further from the truth. The book of Deuteronomy reveals His great love and compassion for His people, Israel. This study will help bring you to a greater understanding of that love and how He feels toward His people, then and now! We know that we serve that same loving, compassionate God, who gave His only begotten Son for the salvation of mankind.
Join me in a topical study of the book of Deuteronomy. Not a study of my words about the book, but a study of God’s words from the book! Relevant and challenging for us today, “…what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways and to love Him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to keep the commandments of the Lord and His statutes which I command you today for your good?
Looking For Contentment in All the Wrong Places: A Bible Study of Joy and Contentment
Available on Amazon
When Eve was in the garden she was content – until she took her eyes off the many blessings God had given her – a beautiful home, a loving husband, and a caring heavenly Father. Her contentment vanished only after she focused on the one thing she was not supposed to have. How often do we do this? Despite the many blessings that God gives, we look around for things we don’t (or maybeshouldn’t) have. What happens then? We grow dissatisfied with the blessings we do have. What makes you discontent? If you set your eyes only on Jesus, could you be truly content? Searching for Contentment explores what God’s word reveals about the things that cause us to be discontented, and focuses on how we can learn to be content with the joy and blessings He offers in Christ.

Study your Bible! That’s what I was constantly told as a child growing up in the church. I heard it from the pulpit and I heard it in my Bible classes. I wanted to study, so I went home and tried; I read my Bible and tried to understand it but never felt like I was actually “studying” – only reading.
As a grown woman, I finally learned both the inductive study method and how to use good Bible study tools, and this knowledge changed my relationship with God and His Word. Studying the Bible became exciting! Things I had never before seen seemed to “pop out” of the biblical text in a way they never had before.
This book uses the different kinds of literature in the Bible (narrative, poetry, prayers, etc) to teach this method. I am by no means an expert, just trying to share what I have found to be extremely helpful to your personal Bible study.
